Hi I'm Jerrid,

UX/UI designer based in Atlanta, Georgia.

A creative with 20+ years in film and television, now channeling my eye for detail and storytelling into UX/UI design. Skilled in user research, prototyping, and remote collaboration tools. My background as a sound utility taught me to observe carefully, listen deeply, and solve problems under pressure, skills I now bring to every user-centered project. With a passion for music, photography, and intuitive design, I’m seeking hybrid or remote roles where thoughtful design meets real impact.

Project Planning App - Next Gen DIY Tool

Paws & Poise A mobile pet grooming app concept I designed during my first UX project. With no prior UX experience, I leaned on real-world problem-solving skills to research, define, and prototype a simple, user-friendly solution for scheduling grooming appointments.

Home Depot In a 2-week UX/UI design sprint, our team developed an DIY project planning tool for the Home Depot mobile app that bridges the gap between inspiration and execution. Helping users brainstorm, organize, track, and document home improvement projects. Grounded in user research, the solution focused on material planning, task management, and realistic time tracking.

Atlanta WorldWide A comprehensive UX case study exploring how I transformed a confusing vintage shop website into an intuitive e-commerce experience that users actually want to shop on.

Hooktheory Reimagined Hooktheory with a modern UX/UI redesign to better meet the needs of today’s music creators. The project focused on converting free users to paid customers while maintaining the platform’s reputation for educational excellence.
